About
Customer-facing engineering, crypto infrastructure, and AI workflows.
How I moved from production troubleshooting into domain ownership, automation, and the Forward Deployed, Solutions, and AI PM work I want next.
Customer problems → automation builder → AI systems
- 2022 · Technical Engineer
Joined Fireblocks
High-availability fintech. Blockchain transactions, APIs, wallet ops, policy behavior. Got fast at production troubleshooting and customer translation.
- 2023 · Wallet & DeFi domain owner
Became Focal Point
Ownership of complex domains. Identified gaps in product, wrote a wallet PRD that landed on the Q2 roadmap as a "quick win." The pattern became clear: recurring customer pain could become product feedback, tooling, and automation.
- 2024 · Senior Engineer / Automation Builder
Senior + Automation
Built reporting automation with n8n, a data warehouse, JS, and an LLM. 30-minute manual reports collapsed to about 4 seconds. Director-requested initiative, used across 50+ customer-facing reports.
- 2025 · AI Builder, technical operations
Multi-Agent Builder
Shipped TRBT: around 20 specialized AI agents, 9 product domains, structured playbooks, and outputs that always cite their sources. A 7-person support team uses it daily. Inherited the off-exchange focal seat from someone who left "really big shoes to fill" and carried the work forward.
- 2026 · Looking outward
Now
Multi-agent systems work when they start from real operational pain. The next step is taking that approach into a commercial role where customer discovery, technical depth, and practical AI workflows meet.

What managers said
" During H2 you proved why I could trust you with the exchange focality, acting with independence, deep-diving into customer issues, and assisting with enablements. You demonstrated being a dedicated engineer for a customer, enhancing their experience with Fireblocks. "
" When you joined the Seniors team I assigned you with the task of taking the off-exchange focal point, knowing that you were replacing someone who left really big shoes to fit in, and you excelled with it. Your collaboration with the Product team contributes a lot to the support team as a whole. "
" As a wallet and DeFi focal point, you have done a great job. Handled complicated investigations in a professional and proactive manner. Your ambition and motivation to go the extra mile and improve team processes within the organization are inspiring. "
" You have a unique combination of technical skills and creativity that greatly benefits your work. Your ability to generate innovative ideas and organize them effectively results in well-designed outcomes. "
" Your proactive attitude toward innovation, along with your careful documentation skills, highlights your organizational skills and commitment to doing excellent work. "
A bit more, in my own words
I'm Ben. I started at Fireblocks four years ago close to the customer and close to the product: wallets, transactions, policies, integrations, and the parts that fail in interesting ways. The work taught me to translate fast: from confused customer reports to precise reproductions, from log noise to root cause, and from recurring pain to product gaps worth writing up.
Somewhere along the way I stopped wanting to repeat the same investigation twice and started wanting to build the workflow once. So I built things. n8n pipelines that retired manual reports. A reporting job that cut 30 minutes of SQL to 4 seconds of automation. Then TRBT, a multi-agent investigation system that helps reproduce the path an experienced teammate would take, with faster source-backed handoffs.
Now I'm looking outward. The same approach carries over well to roles where customer discovery, technical depth, AI workflow design, and measurable value sit together: sales engineering, GenAI engineering, AI product. Fintech, web3, payments, and crypto custody are domains I've already spent years inside. If that sounds like the seat you're hiring for, I'd love to talk.
Let's talk.
